It opens up the world of science and gives an insight into the motivations of the scientists who work so hard to uncover the secrets of nature and decipher the codes of the universe.
Spend time at the Institute’s award winning Clore Garden of Science, a unique open-air museum which invites children and adults alike to explore the wonders of science and nature through 90 hands-on exhibits. Run by the Davidson Institute of Science Education, the museum challenges visitors to reconsider their ingrained perceptions and to enhance their understanding of the world around them through enjoyable, hands-on activities for all ages.
Tour Weizmann House, one of Israel’s historical landmarks. This striking Art Deco building was designed as the home of Dr Chaim Weizmann, first President of the State of Israel and founder of the Weizmann Institute of Science, and his wife, Dr Vera Weizmann. The house was built by the famous architect Erich Mendlesohn on a beautifully landscaped hill overlooking the coastal plain to the west and Judean Mountains to the east. Weizmann House is currently undergoing a refurbishment and is expected to re-open in April 2017.
A visit to the Weizmann Institute, only 45 minutes from Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, is a perfect addition to any holiday or business trip to Israel.
