Bon Voyage Bessies!

Weizmann UK were delighted to see off a group of Bessie Lawrence International Summer Science Institute students, who are heading to Israel to spend a month on campus at the Weizmann Institute of Science. This is the first time that the programme has taken place in person since Covid. This amazing programme is a unique opportunity for talented students who are just about to begin their university career to work alongside scientists as part of a research team at The Institute. The students will also spend time exploring Israel whilst forging lifelong friendships with over 80 like-minded participants from all over the world.

We wish our ten UK students the best of luck as they embark upon an incredible summer of science!

Thanks to our generous supporters, each year Weizmann UK offers scholarship funded places for UK students to participate in the ISSI programme.
