Weizmann House

While on campus don’t miss the elegant Art Deco building designed by the renowned Jewish-German architect Erich Mendelson.  Built by Chaim and Vera Weizmann, this remarkable home served as Israel’s first Presidential Residence, reflecting both the personal life and public role of the Institute’s founder and Israel’s first President. The beautifully preserved building offers visitors a glimpse into the life of one of science's great visionaries, featuring period furnishings, historical artifacts, and exhibitions that chronicle both Weizmann's scientific achievements and his role in establishing the State of Israel. The house provides intimate insights into the intersection of science, history, and human ambition and is a fascinating way to learn more about the Institute's founding principles and enduring mission.

Chaim Weizmann's Lab

Visitors to the Weizmann Institute can see Dr. Chaim Weizmann's own laboratory located within the Daniel Sieff Research Institute, which was the first building to be established on campus in 1934. The lab has been preserved as a historical artifact including the scientific equipment Weizmann used in his own research during the Institute's earliest days.
