Ambassadors' Network
Our Ambassadors are a valued community of committed supporters who advance the work of Weizmann UK through regular, unrestricted gifts.
While many generous donations support specific research projects at the Weizmann Institute, our Ambassadors’ unrestricted support is essential to delivering a dynamic programme of UK events and activities and driving our fundraising efforts. It supports initiatives such as the Making Connections programme, which fosters scientific collaboration between Israel and the UK, alongside educational programmes that inspire and develop the next generation of scientific talent. Their unrestricted funds also help us share the wonder of Weizmann science more widely through events that showcase groundbreaking research, strengthen Anglo-Israeli scientific links, and engage new supporters. Crucially, the commitment of our Ambassadors plays a powerful role in unlocking further support.
Our Ambassadors also act as advocates, sharing their enthusiasm for the Institute and encouraging others within their networks to become part of the Weizmann community. They regularly attend our events and visit the Institute, building a close connection with our work that places them at the heart of our mission and progress.
How it works
To help us sustain and grow our UK programme, we invite Ambassadors to make an annual gift of between £5,000 and £10,000 for a minimum of three years. Alongside their financial commitment, Ambassadors use their knowledge and enthusiasm to help introduce new friends and supporters to Weizmann UK in ways we simply could not achieve alone.
We know that our supporters have many demands on their time and resources. We are deeply grateful to our Ambassadors for their generosity and dedication. Without them, it would be far harder for us to provide the level of support that enables the Weizmann Institute to thrive.

- Providing you with regular updates on how your support helps Weizmann UK
- Exclusive invitations to events with Weizmann scientists
- Invitations to attend the annual International Board meeting in Israel
