Each summer, the Weizmann Institute of Science’s annual Kupcinet-Getz International Science School accepts a select number of outstanding undergraduate students to participate in research projects in mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry or life sciences.
The programme is designed for undergraduates from all over the world, who are majoring in sciences, to experience science first-hand by becoming part of the research group at the Weizmann Institute. each student is assigned to a laboratory or a theoretical research project under the supervision of an experienced scientist. The students become, for a short time, full-fleged members of the scientific team.
This programme will help students shape their scientific course and reinforce their commitment to research as a career.
The programme is 8 weeks long (28 June – 20 August 2015) for undergraduate university-level students only. Participants must have completed at least one year of study. Final year students may apply for the summer immediately after graduation.
Applications for Summer 2016 will open later in 2015. Please check back for further information.
